Meeting Greta is wonderful. She seems to awaken a hidden spark within each and every soul that crosses her path. She's inspiring; looking at the world through her clever mind, she channels this in her photography, capturing moments on film in a raw and beautiful manner. Looking at Greta's pictures leaves me with a lingering smile on my face, making me want to know more about the image, and that is what a good photo is.
Gather.ly was lucky enough to have Greta on the streets for the London Collection: Men's earlier this week. Greta not only explored the fashion, but took a deep breath and breathed in the whole of the city. Her curious mind delved in to the cultural melting pot that is London.
Here we share her experience. Don't expect a flurry of repetitive catwalk images. Expect to experience the whole story. Feel like you're there, get caught up in the chaos that is fashion in the big city. Sit back and enjoy.

As a newcomer to both London and London Fashion Week, the first thing I noticed was the overwhelming creative energy that floods through the streets of this incredible city. From the fine lines and disciplined craftsmanship of Savile Row, to the seemingly chaotic yet somehow perfectly executed mayhem of the Broadway Market-goers and Brick Lane-aficionados, there’s something in the water in London.
...there's something in the water in London.
I was lucky enough to arrive a few days before LC:M took over the city, and had time to acquaint myself with both 'The Old Smoke', and some of the fresher parts of The Old Smoke, enjoying maybe one too many sunny afternoons in London Fields.
I found this same creative energy transcend throughout London Collections too. As a new face on the European men’s circuit, there were a few things that really stood out for me. First was the attention to detail present across the board; from the strong runway shows, to the extensive showroom spaces and the ensembles of those in attendance.
The A. Sauvage runway on Tuesday was a standout of the season - the under-stated, yet perfectly balanced collection combined clean lines with really vibrant colours and patterns, and was as refreshingly impressive as Adrien’s catwalk touchdown which concluded the show.
Another standout was the Angelo Van Mol collection in the Victoria House Showroom space. The second collection by Antwerp graduate Van Mol, caught my eye when Selom Amoa’s green shoes passed by my lunch spot on his way to the showroom. Unsurprisingly, Amoa's pair of finely crafted green torts were just a teaser to the rest of Van Mol's strong collection.
Another highlight was the Florin Dobre Show, which was held in the streets of Bloomsbury Square and saw models descend from one of London's iconic red buses, the bespoke tailoring filling the streets with colour.
And as always for me, the streets were an endless source of inspiration. London's energy is definitely engendered from the people, buildings and noise of its inhabitants. Thanks London, Gather.ly and BFC, London Collections SS15 was real.
